I may be biased and all seeing as I married my high school sweet heart and best friend at the lovely Wild Basin Lodge… BUT it is simply amazing! A one of a kind wedding venue that is owned by two of the sweetest and most genuinely kind people I have ever met. Denice and Nils will make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. It is one of my very favorite places to shoot weddings! Not only is it nestled in the most gorgeous spot, but every single person who works there makes me feel incredibly blessed by their kindness!
I remember the first time I met Denice… She was all smiles and gave me a big hug. I remember thinking to myself that she was amazing and I had to work at this lodge more! Thankfully it has worked out great and I have shot numerous weddings at wild basin over the last 5 years or so! I simply love it!
Being a wild basin bride and a wedding photographer I would say I have a unique perspective of the lodge… The most amazing part for me is that when I walked through the doors on my wedding day and each time I come to shoot a wedding… I am treated the exact same – with the utmost kindness!!

Okay, so you might be thinking “can it get much better”?? The answer is YES! Not only is it stunning and run by the kindest people, BUT the food…. OH MY GOSH, the food!! Simply incredible.. Mouth watering and delicious! I could eat the bacon wrapped dates all day long!! mmhmm!
