Violeta and Richard were amazing to work with! They were smiles the entire session and so full of joy and laughter!

It was a gorgeous day at Wild Basin Lodge for an early morning engagement session. The sun was shinning, the sky was a beautiful bright blue, and the aspens leaves are beginning to change to a light yellow… It was truly magical!!

I am so happy for Violeta and Richard as they begin the adventure of planning their wedding!! They will be getting married at Wild Basin Lodge in June!

Some words from Violeta…

How did you and Richard meet?

We meet at Boulder Dushanbe Tea House. Rich was my manager and I was a server. One of the cooks did an outing and we went only because we knew that each other were going. When we met with everyone we started talking and we decided to leave and go get to know each other.  We have been together ever since.

How did you get engaged?

We got engaged at the hot springs in Steamboat, CO on Dec 25th. He was going to do it there but then did not because it there were too many people so he did it in the car. He was so cute because he was so nervous!!

What made you decide on Wild Basin Lodge to host your wedding day?

We knew we wanted to do it at Wild Basin because of the amazing view of the mountains! Rich wanted to be married with an amazing mountain behind him and he shall! Also we loved how friendly the staff is. I love coming in there because they always make you feel so good and show you how much they care about people.

Have you enjoyed wedding planning so far? Favorite parts?

Planning so far has been good! I am feel like I am on top of things. The only things is that is everything is so expensive, but it’s all working out great!
