Celebrate love day!!
It is true that Valentines Day can be cheesy and much more about material items than it should be… In my opinion it is a bit sad that there needs to be a day set aside that is devoted to showing your special someone that you care about them. I think that should be a priority for 365 days, not just one. However, I will admit that it does feel rather nice to get a bouquet of roses and a box of chocolates and have an excuse to an enjoy a nice romantic evening at a lovely restaurant.
I think that too often we get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of our every day lives and can lose sight of what truly matters. People and the relationships we have with them are what matter… How we impact and effect others is the legacy we will leave. It is so important not neglect the people in our lives because life is far too short and precious and it can be gone in a split second. We shouldn’t have regrets or ‘I wish I would have’s’ when it comes to how we treat the people in our lives. Sometimes we chalk it up to the fact that they will always be there or that there is tomorrow to work it out and show them how much we care…
However, that is not always the case. Live every moment with intention and love for others. Reach out to people and let the ones you love know how much they truly mean to you. Don’t wait for tomorrow… Celebrate love day, today!
I am very blessed in my own life to be surrounded by supportive and loving people that inspire me to love and live life like the magical adventure that it is! I am beyond thankful for each and every one of them!

In spirit of ‘love day’ I offered mini sessions this year and I was so excited when Caitlin requested a session with her incredibly adorable dog! It was such a fun and precious shoot!
