Enchanting Paris – Inspiring Imagination

Enchanting-ParisTruly enchanting Paris

I love Paris!!! The city of lights and love is truly enchanting and I was smitten from the very beginning!

I have always dreamed of visiting Paris.. I took 4 years of French in high school and would daydream of when I would be able to travel to the city of lights! My little sister and I would watch Passport to Paris over and over when we were younger and pretend we were Mary-Kate and Ashley gallivanting around the city… This dream became a reality during the summer of 2013 when Paris was our first stop during a 5 week long European adventure where we visited 8 countries! We spent 6 days in this charming city and I was enticed in a way I have never experienced while visiting a new place. The following year we spent 5 days in the city and I was a million times more excited for this trip than the last because I had a much better idea of what to expect! I was full of so much excitement in anticipation for our adventure! There is nothing quite like wandering the quiet streets of Montmartre, fighting the crowds on the Champs-Élysées, strolling through Père Lachaise, sipping latte’s at a corner café, and tasting pastries unlike any you’ve had before. It felt like a dream… One full of possibility and enchantment. There is art everywhere you go – whether it’s the musicians on the street corners,  painters on the bridges, or the silent poets that you often miss. Paris is full of imagination and creative ambition. It’s a city where so many things seem possible. It sparks an inspiring flame inside me to create and explore.

It may not be Paris for you or even a city for that matter which encourages such desire… Whatever it is for you, go after it and chase what inspires you to dream! Never stop imagining what you could do in this life! Don’t limit yourself… Find what enchants you and don’t lose sight of it.

If you have never visited this charming city… I highly encourage you to do so. Take your time and wander the less popular streets to find the true treasures it has to offer.

On our first trip my husband and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary! It doesn’t get much more romantic than that! We ate outside at a quite restaurant in Montmartre and had gelato for dessert while we wandered the streets by Sacré-Coeur…
