Black Canyon Inn Spring Wedding

Black-Canyon-Inn-Spring-Wedding-1Congratulations to Gretchen and Ryan!!

I love photographing small weddings. There is something so wonderful about having a handful of your favorite people surround you while you promise your life to your best friend.

Gretchen was the sweetest! She was so excited in all of her emails to me leading up to her wedding day and then when I saw her across the parking lot waving and smiling at me I knew it was going to be a wonderful day!

I loved the way her and Ryan giggled and smiled at each other the entire time!

Oh!! And Gretchen’s dad was their officiant! How special is that!?

Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day at The Black Canyon Inn

Some words from the bride…

How did you and Ryan meet? Selective swiping and creative conversation 😉

How did you get engaged? We were dog sledding with friends near Breckenridge

What made you you decide to have your wedding in Colorado? We both love to snow ski, especially in Colorado. We love the mountains and Colorado is our favorite. It’s intimate and beautiful.

What made you choose Black Canyon Inn? We researched on yelp, google/the knot, and found that Black Canyon Inn had the best views and a great all inclusive  wedding package deal.

Do you have any honeymoon plans? We are traveling to Italy – Florence and Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and trying new foods.

Anything you want to add about your love story? From the very beginning, Ryan and I shared a love for music and being outdoors. We enjoy going to concerts and festivals. We love to snow ski, hike, and cycle. I also like yoga. We enjoy working on projects together like landscaping, and updating furniture.

I love to laugh, and find humor in many things….Ryan brings so much more joy and laughter to my life.
