Baby’s Gender Reveal

I guess it’s time I blog about the newest and most exciting news happening in our lives… We are expecting our first baby!! I am currently 19 weeks and we just had the exciting ultrasound where they reveal boy vs. girl!! I didn’t really have a preference (I was trying my best to be neutral!). Laying there on the table while the doctor moved the ultrasound wand around on my abdomen watching our sweet precious little one twist and move about was surreal, to say the least… It’s unlike anything I have ever experienced!

When the Doctor said “It looks like a girl” my heart jumped with excitement and my mind began racing! I would have been completely fine if he had said “boy” as well. BUT when they tell you one or the other it somehow makes it so much more exciting (at least it did for me!!) One step closer to meeting our beautiful treasured baby!

I wasn’t sure how I wanted to do the baby’s gender reveal… So, of course I enlisted the help of Pinterest! Which, proved to helpful as always! After a day of running around gathering supplies, painting boxes, visiting the doctor… We were ready! I was so excited!

We met my dad later in the evening to take some photos so we could reveal the big news!!

I must say, Ryan was quite the trooper through all of this as well!

This has been quite the journey so far… I found out I was pregnant shortly after our crazy Euroadventure and it was such a joyful moment and then sharing the news with Ryan was the best! I knew he would be nervous (as was I!!), but his initial reaction right in that moment was magical. His face lit up and he looked at me with such a treasured look that I will never forget. I am so excited to start a family with the man of my dreams!!!
