Yesterday was our last full day in New Orleans and we decided to do a few of the tours through the city and I am so glad we did! As cheesy as they were… It was super informative and interesting to get some history on the city while walking through the streets. We wandered around the Lafayette cemetery and neighborhoods of the famous garden district (the houses we so amazing… unlike anything I had seen before!).. sipped coffee drinks in a precious shop and wandered the bookstore next door… ate beignets at Cafe Du Monde and shopped and admired the amazing architecture… New Orleans is an incredible one of kind city and I am so glad I was able to visit it!
Today we wandered into a few more shops and then headed out of town.. Our destination was Galveston, Texas! We were so excited to get to the ocean!!!!!!!!!
It was awesome to FINALLY spot the ocean along the scenic highway were decided to take along the coast… Not only were we seeing the beach for the first time on our trip, but when we pulled over it was sunset!!!! I was in HEAVEN. 🙂 It was incredible and I can’t wait for a few more days at the beach!
