Hello! I am a wife, a mom, Jesus follower, book worm, and lover of adveture! I am a wedding photographer located in Denver and though I primarily shoot in Colorado, I am often taken over by wanderlust and am available for worldwide travel! I specialize in photographing joyful and adventurous couples that are head over heels in love! I love everything about weddings!! On this blog I will be sharing wedding inspiration, travel adventures, and personal stories. I love the creative side of what I do, but I also really enjoy the business aspect. Especially the marketing side! I will be sharing what I learn along the way as well!
We had planned to fly out of Oslo Norway at the end of our trip – mainly because that is where we found the least expesnive flights during that time. We booked three days in Oslo and planned to sight see and wander the city. We thought maybe we could see a Fjord or two during our time there as well… Julia and I had been looking up Norway on Pinterest for awhile and were in awe of the stunningly beautiful landscapes it had. I sure do love a Stanley Hotel Wedding!! It’s a stunning historic venue with unlimited photographic options! I always love shooting there! Rose and Jamey had their reception at The Stanley Hotel, but before that they had a beautiful Catholic wedding ceremony at Saint Malo – a stunning stone church on a rock hill. It’s a breathtaking small chapel! They were a joyful and inspiring couple – their entire wedding was full of love and laughter! It was such a true pleasure to be meet them both and be apart of preserving their special day!! Continue reading “Stanley Hotel Wedding”
After leaving Copenhagen Denmark we made our way to Stockholm Sweden! We had two days in this lovely city… Which like all of the places we visited, was not nearly enough time! It’s a nice way to get a taste of a city, but to really get a feel for the culture and rich history these ancient cities have to offer – much more time is needed! I am hoping to make my way back to Scandinavia someday! When we first got in we took a train from the airport to a main station close to our hostel and walked the remaining 10 minutes until we found it! We were starved so we headed to a nearby market to get some food to make back at our hostel!
Lynn and Jim were a wonderful couple! They are an adventurously active bunch with so much joy in their hearts that it radiates from them constantly! They were smiles the entire day and were surrounded by so much love during their celebration!
We got up before the sun on our last morning in London to have a taxi take us to a bus station that then took us to the airport to catch out flight to Copenhagen Denmark! We were yet again going to another country on our list of stops for this epic adventure! We were tired, but once we got out of the metro station in Copenhagen it was as if a new burst of energy sparked! We had less than 24 hours in the enchanting city and we didn’t want to waist a single second of it! Continue reading “Copenhagen Denmark”
I was sitting in my hostel room in Inverness, Scotland when I received an email from David asking about wedding photography for their upcoming YMCA of the Rockies wedding. Once we got to talking and I let him know I was out of the country – it sparked an mutual interest in all things travel! The second he started telling me about how much him and Elizabeth love to travel and serve others, I was hooked and knew this was a wedding for me! They shared with me how they had lived in Turkey teaching English together – how amazing is that?! Continue reading “ymca of the rockies wedding”
After we dropped that car off at the Heathrow Airport we took the tube to the Earls Court station and walked a few blocks to where we were staying in London! I couldn’t believe we were actually there! I had never had a strong desire to visit London, but once it was a destination on the list of stops, I started researching more and I became very excited to go! Continue reading “London England”
