wild basin lodge wedding photographer
I may be biased and all seeing as I married my high school sweet heart and best friend at the lovely Wild Basin Lodge… BUT it is simply amazing! A one of a kind wedding venue that is owned by two of the sweetest and most genuinely kind people I have ever met. Denice and Nils will make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. It is one of my very favorite places to shoot weddings! Not only is it nestled in the most gorgeous spot, but every single person who works there makes me feel incredibly blessed by their kindness!
I remember the first time I met Denice… She was all smiles and gave me a big hug. I remember thinking to myself that she was amazing and I had to work at this lodge more! Thankfully it has worked out great and I have shot numerous weddings at wild basin over the last 5 years or so! I simply love it!

2015 goals and dreams
I am constantly dreaming of things I want to accomplish in my life and the adventures I desire to have along the way… Perhaps sometimes I can get a little too carried away and my dreams become too big or all over the place, but then I really think about it and what is the point of dreaming if not to reach for the stars?? I don’t want to limit my dreams – this year I am sharing what those dreams are in the hopes that they will become a reality and by the happenstance that I can inspire others to dream bigger than they thought possible.
Here are some of my 2015 goals and dreams…

I am a total sucker for Christmas, weddings and The Stanley Hotel… So what could be more magical that an a stanley hotel christmas wedding???
The Stanley is gorgeous all year, but there is something extra special about it at Christmas time. Kari and Brent were a lovely couple… both extremely genuine, kindhearted, and welcoming. They were surrounded by family and close friends at their intimate stanley hotel christmas wedding.
One of my favorite parts of a wedding to photograph is when the bride is getting ready… She is always so excited in anticipation for the magical Continue reading “stanley hotel christmas wedding”

Praying for Paris
Paris is truly a magical city. It has romanced people for many years and draws wanderers in from all over the world with it’s sparkling streets, delicious cuisine, magnificent architecture, and overall uniqueness… I always dreamed about visiting Paris and was ecstatic when my dream came true!! Not only was I going to Paris for the first time, but I would be there with my amazing husband for our one year anniversary! I’m not sure it could get more romantic than that! It was an incredible trip full of adventure and romance! THEN to make things even more amazing we were able to go back the following year! I’m secretly hoping this becomes a tradition…

Denver Engagement Photography
Karen and Bryan were incredible to work with. They were both smiles and laughter the entire session. I met them at Union Station in downtown Denver and we wandered around the festively decorated station taking photos in many lovely spots. I loved the Christmas trees and the giant presents they had set up! This is such a wonderful time of year and it was truly a treat to meet Karen and Bryan!
They will be having a lovely wedding at The Stanley Hotel this summer and I cannot wait!
Enjoy some images from their wonderful session.
